She was most recently employed in the same post at Tele2 Sverige and will be taking up the newly created post at Folksam on 1 September. <\/strong><\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m very happy to have recruited such a well-qualified person as Annika to lead and develop our work on PR and media relations in traditional and social media,\u201d says Erik von Hofsten, Vice President and Head of Group Corporate Communications at Folksam.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cOur media efforts are ranked highly by journalists. By creating the post of Group Chief Press Officer, the foundations are laid for further reinforcing and broadening our communications and PR. Annika has precisely the background that we\u2019ve been looking for, and her experience will enable her to take Folksam\u2019s communications to the next level.\u201d<\/p>\n<p>Annika Kristersson is 37 years old and has over ten years\u2019 experience of media and PR work. Prior to working at Tele2, she was a communications consultant at Hill &amp; Knowlton.<\/p>\n<p>\u201cI\u2019m delighted to have the chance to take on the challenge of developing Folksam and its subsidiaries in terms of communications in both traditional and digital media. The fact that I can do this at Folksam makes me even prouder as it is a large, robust and modern company that focuses on security for its customers and on sustainability,\u201d says Annika Kristersson.<\/p>\n<p>The post of Group Chief Press Officer falls under Folksam\u2019s Corporate Communications Department.<\/p>\n<p>When Annika Kristersson takes up her post, Patric Elm\u00e9n \u2013 who has been acting Chief Press Officer for Folksam and Folksam LO Pension \u2013 will return to his consultancy activities.
